Purpose : Perform all levels of mechanical design, including developing construction documents. Responsibilities : Receive general instructions on key objectives and work under supervision, applying standard engineering techniques. Assist in marketing the firm’s capabilities to attract new clients and strengthen relationships. Design mechanical systems in compliance with current codes and engineering principles. Communicate effectively with team members and clients. Conduct field visits to document existing conditions. Organize tasks to complete designs efficiently and meet schedules. Produce accurate construction documents within budget and time constraints. Assist in developing cost estimates and participate in meetings. Address review comments and adjust designs accordingly. Review project-related administrative items as directed. Work within established budgets and develop knowledge of relevant codes and software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering or related field. Entry-level position; no prior experience required, but any professional experience is a plus. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC modeling software. EIT and LEED credentials are preferred. Physical Demands & Environment : Mostly office work with occasional outdoor work, involving movement, lifting up to 20 pounds, and use of PPE as needed. Note : This description is not exhaustive.
