This is a long-term locum tenens assignment in a 99-bed regional medical center with a 10-bed ICU. Physicians with strong critical care skills and the ability to manage vents and ICU patients independently are encouraged to apply. This assignment offers block scheduling options, full travel coordination, and a supportive clinical team—perfect for physicians seeking a high-impact role with strong autonomy. Opportunity Snapshot Facility Overview Hospital Size: 99 beds ICU: 10 beds (Open ICU) Annual Patient Encounters: ~4,000 Average Census: 15-17 Patients per Day Trauma Designation: None Shift Details Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (on-site) Night Call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (on-call from home) Block Scheduling: Preferred 5–7 consecutive shifts per assignment EMR System: Medhost Call Requirement: Yes – physicians must be able to manage vents and ICU patients; ED serves as backup for procedures Procedures Preferred: Intubations Central Lines Vent Management (Required) Candidate Requirements Board Certification: ABIM or ABFM (Required) Licensure: Active Missouri Medical License & DEA Certifications: ACLS Required Experience: Proficiency managing ICU patients and ventilators independently Credentialing: Emergency Temp Privileges Available – Clean Files Only Why Rhino Medical?
