Job Description & RequirementsOur client is looking to hire a Mammography Tech to join their team at a medical center in New York. This is a temp-to-perm role, and they are open to new grads!
Job Function:
\nOperate mammographic equipment and other devices, adhering to company policies and protocols.
\nProduce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring excellent patient care.
\nUse equipment adjustments (compression, exposure modes, filters, etc.) to produce optimal images.
\nMonitor patient well-being during exams, addressing discomfort or medical concerns as needed.
\nGuide patients through the process, answering questions and addressing concerns.
\nJob Requirements:
\n2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
\nARRT (R)(M) certification required.
\nActive state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
\nBLS certification required.
\nActive New York State Department of Health (DOH) license.
