Title: Production Assembler
Location: North Canton, OH
Duration: 0-3 Months
Shift: 6:00AM to 4:30PM Monday - Thursday. Off Fridays
Pay Rate: $ 15.00 - $17.00/Hour on w2.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform simple machine set-up.
- Assemble materials from individual components using detailed written or verbal instructions.
- May perform simple screening, bagging, boxing or cutting operations.
- Use a variety of hand tools and test equipment.
- Inspect/test work for quality, resolve simple problems, recognize errors and correct or seek assistance.
- Ensure the acceptable housekeeping practices are followed. • Understand and follow applicable company practices, policies, and procedures.
- Follow all established safety regulations.
- Read and understand technical drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine sequence of operations, materials required, and procedures needed.
- Clean, prepare, and stage job materials for production according to procedure.
- Inspect final product to ensure all specifications are met.
- Schedule maintenance and repairs of production equipment.
Skills/Requirements Experience with cabling, harnessing, PCB repair, and SMT.
Basic reading and math skills.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, process documents, and visual aids.
Ability to resolve simple problems.
Ability to perform work in a quality and timely manner.
Strong attention to detail.
General knowledge of screen printing equipment and techniques.
Basic knowledge of printing materials.
Ability to make precise measurements.
Working Environment Warehouse setting with moderate noise levels, good ventilation, and lighting.
Potential exposure to various weather conditions.
May require use of protective clothing and operation of heavy equipment.
Must follow strict safety regulations.
Physical Requirements May involve standing and walking up to 10% of the time.
Requires lifting packages up to 50 pounds.
Frequent bending, stooping, and walking long distances.
Climbing ladders and using hand tools may be necessary.
