Job Description: Manufacturing Facility Cleaner
Location: McGregor, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Pay: $16-$17/hr (Depending on Experience)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Worker to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the manufacturing space. The ideal candidate will take pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning and sanitation of floors, walls, workstations, and common areas within the warehouse and manufacturing facility.
• Remove dust, dirt, oil, metal shavings, and debris from around machinery, equipment, and production areas.
• Clean and degrease machinery and mechanical components as needed, following safety guidelines and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Empty trash, scrap, and recycling containers and transport waste to appropriate disposal or recycling areas.
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when inventory is low.
• Operate floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and other industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized environment to meet safety, health, and cleanliness standards (including OSHA compliance).
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Follow proper PPE usage and adhere to all site-specific safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor, including occasional deep cleans during shutdowns or maintenance windows.
• Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Adhere to all safety and cleaning protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
• Perform other cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow cleaning schedules.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.
