Overview Pearse Partners is working with a leading mid-market investment bank seeking to expand its Industrials M&A team in Chicago. The hire comes in response to strong deal flow and a growing client base across core industrials sub-sectors, including manufacturing, building products, transportation, and business services. Responsibilities Support execution of M&A transactions across the Industrials sector, working closely with senior bankers throughout the full deal lifecycle. Take ownership of deliverables including financial models, pitch materials, and client presentations. Lead work streams on due diligence, valuation, and transaction execution. Partner with senior team members to manage client relationships and contribute to origination efforts. Ideal background / Qualifications 3+ years of experience in investment banking, or relevant experience within a Big 4 M&A/transaction services team. Strong transactional exposure within Industrials or adjacent sectors, with a genuine interest in the space. Excellent technical skills, including financial modelling and valuation. Ability to thrive in a lean, high-performing environment with direct client exposure. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
