Timonium Children’s Center is hiring for qualified teachers (Leads and Assistants) to join our center in our Infant and Two's rooms. We are looking for caring and creative people who have the ability to provide quality care for young children all while making education fun and creative.
Lead Infant/Toddlers Teachers must be qualified through MSDE Office of childcare. Applicants must have:
• 90 hours Early Childhood Certification, 45 hours Infant and Toddler Cert., CDA or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood
• 9 hours communication class
• Child Care and Covid-19 training
• ADA Cert.
• Basic health and safety Cert.
• CPR and First Aid Cert.
• Medication Administration Cert.
• Supporting Breastfeeding Cert.
• Emergency Preparedness Cert.
• All candidates must be able to pass background check.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of daily classroom activities, including curriculum planning, health and safety, open communication with team of teachers and with families.
• Develop an emergent curriculum that provides multiple points of entry for children and encourages their social & emotional growth that will create an exciting learning atmosphere.
• Work collaboratively with teaching team, administrators, and specialists.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development days, and teacher trainings. Observe and document the children’s progress and development.
• Conduct professional parent conferences.
