Overview :
Our client in the Torbram and Derry area is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining sewing machinery in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial to ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.

- Pay rate of $18.50 (Payroll, by direct deposit only)

- Afternoon shift 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM from Monday - Thursday

- Industrial sewing machine - double needle, straight line sewing

Responsibilities :

• Operate machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning and lubricating components.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report any significant problems to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the manufacturing environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous industrial sewing machine operator experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
