IMMIGRATION PARALEGAL - IN PERSON (11220 ZIP)

We are looking to hire an In-Person Immigration Paralegal for our Brooklyn Immigration firm.

We handle COURT REMOVAL PROCEEDINGS, FAMILY IMMIGRATION, VAWA, ASYLUM, CANCELLATION OF REMOVAL, WAIVERS, T-VISAS, MOTIONS TO REOPEN, APPEALS, and EB-1 AND EB-2 CASES.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS.

The daily responsibilities of the position will mainly include drafting USCIS forms, drafting affidavits, editing documents, editing witness letters, drafting basic motions, assisting and handling immigration clients, managing the calendar, setting and confirming appointments, evidence submission, and other tasks as assigned by the senior paralegals and/or attorneys.

Other Responsibilities:

• Prepare immigration applications and forms
• Communications with clients and attorneys
• Correspondence to USCIS and Courts
• Conduct research to support legal proceedings
• Prepare affidavits with clients
• Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents such as petitions and motions
• Prepare and send out evidence submissions to USCIS and Immigration Courts
• Prepare legal correspondence
• Use of Clio CRM software for every communication, note, and document
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required

- Previous experience working with documents and using CRM software a MUST.

- Ability to prioritize and multitask is very important.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Russian.
Deadline and detail-oriented.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Russian fluency is a plus!
