HubSpot/Salesforce Solutions Architect About the Role

The HubSpot/Salesforce Solutions Architect designs and builds custom HubSpot solutions for clients. This role collaborates closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions. The Solutions Architect is responsible for the overall architecture of the clients HubSpot ecosystem, ensuring that it meets their needs and goals.

Responsibilities



  • Sales engineering and SOW planning: Participate in discussions with sales prospects to understand complex requirements to translate those into clear scopes of work that will become part of client contracts and project plans.

  • Discovery and strategy: Collaborate with the client to understand client needs, goals, and challenges related to their HubSpot usage. Perform technical discovery, identify opportunities for improving HubSpot implementations, and recommend solutions.

  • System architecture: Design and build the technical architecture needed to meet a clients HubSpot requirements. This includes mapping out integrations, data flows, and complex system setups based on the clients business needs and existing processes.

  • Implementation: Oversee or execute the build, which can involve customizations, integrations with third-party tools, and optimizing HubSpots CRM capabilities. Ensure that data flows between hubs and other systems.

  • Support and maintenance: Provide ongoing technical support and may manage the client\s HubSpot ecosystem on a long-term basis, ensuring smooth operation and scalability. Continually optimize the architecture to adapt to changing business needs.

  • Oversee change management: Ensure that updates and modifications are carried out in a controlled manner to avoid unintended consequences for client stakeholders / HubSpot users.

  • Problem solving and strategic guidance: Be the first line of defense when issues arise within the architecture. Provide strategic insights.

Qualifications



  • Technical Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of HubSpot, including advanced CRM functionality, integration tools, API management, Ops Hub, and HubDB. Ability to read API documentation and understand what is possible. Familiarity with JSON, JavaScript, and relational databases. Experience with iPaaS or integration platform solutions (Syncari, Boomi, Tray.io, Workato, etc.). Experience integrating / troubleshooting Hubspot/Salesforce Integration. Expertise with data modeling and designing systems infrastructure.

  • Client Management Expertise: Strong communication skills to explain complex technical details in a business-friendly manner. Ability to translate rough business requirements to technical specifications.

  • Project planning: Translate the strategic direction of clients needs to build a detailed execution plan, including workstreams, project elements, tasks. Understand the skills required to deliver on those plans and coordinate with team members to complete the work on time and on budget.

Requirements



  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Relevant certifications in HubSpot, Salesforce, or iPaaS platforms are a strong advantage.

This is an agency role, but more than that, it is a role specific to sophisticated CRM implementation / migration focused on HubSpot. This person is extremely technical, strategic and consultative in nature. They are able to explain highly technical scenarios in a digestible way, and architect complex technological blueprints for administrators and technologists to implement. They are proficient in training, documentation development, and running tech stack audits.
