FMP is an award-winning professional services firm that has transformed the public sector since 1991 through partnership, flexibility, and service. Visit our an HR Program Director to support a Federal Contract. The roles will be full time onsite in Washington, DC.

Purpose of the Role

  • The Program Director will serve as the main liaison between the contractor and the federal leadership (Program Manager, Contracting Officer [CO], and Contracting Officer’s Representative [COR]).
  • They’ll be fully responsible for supervising all contract personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead diverse teams and set priorities across multiple internal clients.
  • Develop and manage HR project plans, defining scope, resources, and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance and alignment with human capital policies.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • At least 5 years managing HR operations projects.
  • At least 10 years working across various HR functional areas (e.g. staffing, classification, employee relations, HR systems).
  • Deep knowledge of federal HR laws, policies, and regulations.

Desired Skills

  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • High-level conflict management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to navigate complexity and maintain accountability at all levels.
  • Experience working in a federal Legislative organization is a plus.

Salary - $130,000 – 160,000 commensurate with experience.
