Primary Skills: Procurement(Expert), Negotiation(Expert), SAP(Intermediate),Project Management (Intermediate), Data Analysis(Intermediate), Contract Type: W2 Duration: 4 Months Location: Newark, CA Pay Range: $40. - $45 per hour Job Summary: We are actively looking for a Global Supply Manager to handle the procurement of Low Voltage Electrical Control Units (ECU) and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA), ensuring world-class products are delivered on time and efficiently by managing our supplier relationships effectively. This role involves being the principal internal interface with various inter-departmental teams, including Engineering and Finance, to establish and execute our global supply chain strategy. Ideal candidates will contribute to cross-functional teams, aiding in development, industrialization phases, and throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Work with tier 2 suppliers to ensure clear-to-build status for critical builds. Review and analyze supplier quotations, fostering negotiations and effective sourcing decisions. Assist in creating purchase requisitions using Coupa and SAP for prototype materials and tooling. Oversee supplier development and ensure timely part availability, developing solutions to any arising issues. Monitor tester capacity to prevent supply shortages by timely ordering of necessary testers and tools. Must-have skills: Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Required Domain Experience: Experience in the procurement of electronic and mechanical components, especially in a global supply chain management context within the manufacturing industry, is essential.
