TECHNOLOGY COMPANY

ROLE IS HYBRID ONSITE IN SILICON VALLEY, CA

$39.15/hr, $6,890/month COMPENSATION RATE (depending on experience)

Our client is a large technology company based in the Greater Seattle Area. They develop software, services, products, and hardware devices.

• Summary: The main function of a Graphic Designer is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical graphic designer needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills.
• Job Responsibilities: Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communication problems
• Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design
• Prepare sketches or layouts to present to client
• Create charts and graphs from data given

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Top 3 Skills:

1. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with Figma.

2. Minimum 5+ years’ experience with PowerPoint deck creation.

3. Minimum 5+ years’ experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Years of Experience: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.

Qualifications:

• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving ability
• Basic ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic and film
• Basic ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design
• Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images
• Experience with Adobe publishing and graphics software

Degree/Certs: Associate's degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required. Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferred.

Disqualifiers: Candidates with only experience as a freelancer and are freelancing on the side will not be eligible for the role.

Best: The ideal resume would contain someone that can help with deck creation, infographics, chart and brand design. PowerPoint skills are a must have.

PI: Feedback from team & Sponsor. Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and storytelling chops and feedback from the team.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Start & End: 5/27/2025 – 6/30/2025.

Schedule: M-F, 40 hrs a week, no OT expected.

Typical Tasks: The role will consist of 25% meeting/assignment intake, 25% working on edits, and 50% storytelling and deck creation.

Interaction Level: High level of interaction with Team & Sponsor.

Work Environment: Hybrid in SVC.

Flex Hours/Remote: Hybrid remote in SVC, Silicon Valley, CA. Candidate must come onsite 1-2 days a week.

Extension: Planning to extend into FY26 once budget is approved.
