Our client is a private equity firm. They seek a Fund Accountant to join their Los Angeles, CA office. This opportunity offers a hybrid schedule, comprehensive compensation, and competitive benefits. Base pay range : $80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Responsibilities Work with the fund administrator regarding multiple functions Review fund financials and partner capital statements for all funds Contribute to the coordination of quarterly reviews and audits Coordinate and review valuation models of the Private Equity portfolio Manage the funds’ credit facilities and open/close bank accounts Process wires and related journal entries, as well as bank reconciliations Monitor the accounting mailbox and respond daily to investor requests Aid in the preparation of LP presentations and quarterly investor letters Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned Requirements 1+ years of fund accounting experience Hedge fund/private equity industry experience Public (Big 4) or combo accounting background Motivated, mature, and hardworking Organized with a keen attention to detail Skilled in Excel and technically savvy Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing #J-18808-Ljbffr Abacus Group, LLC
