Part-Time Event Assistant

The Town of Morrisville is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Part-Time Event Assistants. This role involves assisting with the setup, execution, and cleanup of town events. Additionally, the Event Assistant will support various event-related tasks in the days leading up to and following events. The position offers a flexible schedule, primarily involving weekends and evenings, with no fixed weekly hours. Hours will vary based on event needs and schedules

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup of event spaces, including arranging event equipment, setting up decorations, and preparing equipment.
• Provide support during events, including greeting and assisting attendees, managing event activities, and ensuring smooth operation.
• Participate in post-event cleanup, including dismantling setups, cleaning event spaces, and storing equipment properly.
• Assist with inventory management, organizing supplies, and maintaining event equipment.
• Support overall event planning and preparation tasks as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move event equipment and materials.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
