Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and construction site experience. This role involves operating various types of machinery and ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in our projects, contributing to the successful completion of construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and concrete mixers on construction sites.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Safely transport materials using dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and front loader trucks.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow on-site.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area around equipment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on construction machinery.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment as necessary.
• Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred for operating various vehicles on-site.
• Familiarity with different types of heavy machinery including Caterpillar equipment, farm machinery, and tankers is advantageous.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on the job site.
