StaffBright is partnering with a client seeking a proactive Regional EHS Manager in Defiance, OH.

This role will be responsible for planning, directing, and implementing organization safety and environmental programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment by performing the following duties.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Plan and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety, Health Administration (OSHA), and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
• Develop and enforce safety policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
• Maintains safety files and records.
• Inspect organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented.
• Perform Job Hazard and Job Safety Analysis.
• Create and deliver safety training on workplace hazards, fire prevention, and chemical handling.
• Investigate accidents and health risks, identify root causes, and provide solutions.

What We'll Need From You:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years in a health and safety role
• Manufacturing and/or industrial industry experience
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and machine guarding standards.
• Experience with ISO 14001

• First Aid and CPR certification with emergency response
