Position Purpose

: Warehouse duties include using RF scanning system to stock and pull materials, equipment, and other items for shipping or delivery.

• Truck Driving duties include delivering material, product and equipment within the sales territory for the distribution center. MUST possess a VALID Driver's License with NO DWI/DUI.

Job Responsibilities :

• Examines freight and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.

• Confers and corresponds with supervisors or sales representatives to resolve problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.

• Stores materials, equipment and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.

• Delivers or routes materials to shipping or delivery areas in the warehouse, using work devices, such as hand-trucks, carts, pallet jacks and lift-trucks.

• Packs, seals and labels packages to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools and power tools

. • Loads packages onto trucks or trailers for delivery.

• May record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes.

Experience:

• Sitdown Forklift: 1 year (Required)

• Distribution Warehouse: 1 year ()

• Box Truck: 1 year (Required)

Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills :

• Must have a clean 3-year driving history with no DWI

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check

• Ability to read a map and follow directions to customer sites

• Good knowledge of basic math and reading skills

• Active listening skills to contribute to effective communication.

• Must be able to drive a forklift

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable walking and standing for more than 80% of the work day.

Reports to: Warehouse/Department Lead or Warehouse Manager
