Sterile Technician / Dental Assistant – Join Our Fun & Fast-Paced Pediatric Dental Team!

Locations: Coon Rapids & Blaine, MN

Do you enjoy working with children in a lively, supportive environment? Dental Kidds is currently hiring an unlicensed Dental Assistant to join our amazing teams in Coon Rapids and Blaine!

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently enrolled in dental school and soon to graduate, or extensive experience as an unlicensed dental assistant.
• Passion for working with children and making them feel comfortable
• Strong team spirit and communication skills
• Interest in growing a long-term career in the dental field

$21 - $25 hourly

• Clean, sterilize, and disinfect dental instruments and equipment following OSHA, CDC, and clinic protocols.
• Prepare and maintain sterilization logs to ensure proper documentation and compliance with infection control standards.
• Set up and restock operatories with sterile instruments, trays, and supplies for dental procedures.
• Inspect instruments for damage or wear and report any concerns to the clinical team.
• Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment according to manufacturer and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized sterilization area , ensuring all surfaces are disinfected and supplies are properly stored.
• Monitor inventory levels of sterile supplies and communicate needs for reordering or restocking.
• Follow all safety protocols to protect patients and staff from cross-contamination or infection.
• Assist clinical staff as needed with chairside setup, breakdown, and cleaning between patients.
• Support compliance efforts related to OSHA, HIPAA, and internal infection control policies.

• Experience working with children.
• Currently enrolled in dental assisting school or have experience working as an unlicensed assistant.
• Computer Skills.
• Superb communication skills.
