Job Description
Anderson & Johnson Dentures, a premier dental practice in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Dental Lab Technician. This role is ideal for parents with school-age children or professionals seeking flexible part-time work, offering hours that accommodate school schedules and personal commitments. Candidates must have qualifications and abilties to preform duties to include stone work, model trimming, articulation, and setting teeth ; those without these specific skills should not apply. The position requires precision, technical proficiency, and a commitment to excellence in a community-focused dental practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Set teeth for full and partial dentures, ensuring precise alignment, aesthetics, and functionality to meet patient specifications.
- Pour /Trim articulate Models
- Collaborate with dentists and staff to review patient cases, ensuring aesthetic outcomes.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Manage inventory of lab materials, such as acrylics, teeth, and waxes, coordinating with the office for timely reordering.
- Maintain detailed records of lab work and ensure compliance with HIPAA and dental laboratory regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental lab technician, with specific expertise in setting teeth for dentures.
- Proficiency in denture fabrication techniques, including waxing, acrylic processing
- Detail-oriented with strong manual dexterity and a focus on precision in dental craftsmanship.
- Familiarity with dental lab equipment and materials; experience with IvoClar processing systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental laboratory technology program or certification (e.g., CDT) preferred.
- Passion for delivering high-quality dental solutions to the Tacoma community.

- Job Type: Part-Time
- Hours: 15–25 hours per week, scheduled based on business needs (typically Tuesday–Thursday, flexible shifts between 8:00 AM–4:00 PM).
- Pay: $29.00-$57.00 hour, based on experience.
