Job Summary: Karin’s Florist Delivery Drivers are an extension of our company and represent our services and products during each delivery. Drivers must ensure that each arrangement arrives to its destination on time and complete. Delivery drivers work closely with other staff members to problem solve and assist in the overall provision of customer service. Delivery Drives are assigned a route and orders to deliver daily and most often sill operate a company vehicle which will be driven and properly maintained as specified in the expectations below. Reports to the Delivery Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely deliver floral arrangements and related items to homes, businesses, event venues, and other locations as assigned.
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering with a friendly attitude and ensuring items are received in perfect condition.
• Review and follow route sheets and delivery schedules; communicate any delays or issues with the Delivery Manager promptly.
• Load and unload floral products with care, ensuring that arrangements are transported securely and presented attractively.
• Maintain delivery vehicles in a clean, organized, and clutter-free condition at all times.
• Follow all safety protocols, including:
  • No smoking or texting while operating any Karin’s Florist vehicles.
  • Adhering to all traffic and parking regulations.
  • Wear the required uniform and comply with the Grooming and Appearance Policy.
  • Follow all expectations outline in the Driver Responsibilities List
  • Assist with in-store tasks or other duties as assigned by management. 

  Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods
• Ability to lift and carry floral arrangements and packages (up to 50 pounds)
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in wring to expedite and deliver orders properly and locate address by utilizing our computerized ordering system.
• Experience in floral delivery service or other industry is preferred.
