Data Center Technician (Server / Support)
Memphis, TN (5 Days onsite)
Long Term
Engineers will provide troubleshooting, repair, parts ordering, preventative maintenance and Installation of Client product located at the customer site.
· Triage issues with direction from Client Support
· Execute plan of action from Client Domain Engineer/L3
· Document POA Results, logs and service reports (Parts numbers/PPID of old/new parts replaced) to Client via case email
· Reseating parts, swapping, or replace parts
· Server Testing and validation (running diagnostics, capturing and uploading logs)
· Upgrading Firmware as needed
· Parts locker management: manage inbound and outbound parts
· Spare parts management, separate from parts locker (during CW server deployments)
· Parts return to Client
You will be successful in this role if you have:
1. High School Diploma or GED required
2. May require technical certification or an associate degree
3. Generally, 4-6 years’ experience in area of responsibility
