About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its legal team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the review, negotiation, and analysis of a wide range of commercial agreements to ensure the protection of the company's interests and compliance with relevant policies and laws. This role involves close collaboration with the customer contracts director to enhance the contract review process, as well as serving as the main legal contact for internal contract negotiations and disputes. The Senior Corporate Counsel will also be involved in the development and implementation of policies for contract approval processes, and will have the opportunity to work on M&A and other transactional matters with the General Counsel. Applicants must have a JD from an accredited law school, with a preference for those who have received training from a top-tier law firm. A minimum of 5-7 years' of corporate law experience, particularly in drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts, is required. Experience in SaaS and license agreements, data privacy, and cybersecurity is a plus. The role demands excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work on multiple projects and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. In-house experience with contract analytics software, such as DocuSign, is also advantageous. The ideal candidate will be adept at providing legal advice, developing business perspectives, and working in a multi-cultural business environment.
