Description Michelle Espejo with Robert Half Financial Services is recruiting for a Valuation and Fund Controller at a fast-growing global asset manager. They've partnered with top financial services entrepreneurs to help startups succeed worldwide. This is a full-time permanent role based in San Francisco. In this role you'll support key financial decisions across their portfolio. Responsibilities: + Analyze portfolio financials, cap tables, and board reports to support valuations + Develop and maintain tracking tools and dashboards + Conduct data analysis to inform investment and operations + Automate reports and monitor key financial metrics + Create data visualizations for investment teams and partners + Manage fund administrators and review capital calls, distributions, and reports + Oversee investment documentation, deal closings, and capital planning + Lead annual fund audits and tax preparations + Support fundraising with materials and due diligence + Assist with compliance filings, including Form ADV, Form PF, and Cayman reports + Perform PFIC testing for foreign portfolio companies + Track fund performance, expenses, and KPIs + Implement quality controls to ensure data accuracy + Contribute to financial policy and procedure development *Contact Michelle Espejo via LinkedIn or email for additional info and immediate consideration. Requirements + 6+ years in public accounting and/or venture capital/private equity finance + Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field + Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge (CPA preferred) + Advanced Excel skills; SQL a plus + Clear communication and presentation skills + Able to work independently and in teams + Detail-oriented and accurate + Passion for venture capital and technology Interested or even just curious?
