Assists the facility in identifying, evaluating, and addressing pharmacy-related concerns and issues that affect resident care, medical care, quality of life, and/or regulatory compliance. Responsible for collaboration with facility leaders and staff to coordinate pharmaceutical services within long term facilities, guiding development and evaluation of those procedures. Recommends clinical reviews as required by federal and state regulation to company leadership. Advances issue resolutions and communicates early warning signs of potential issues. Represents the company when communicating with customers to promote and drive organic growth as well as new business. Identifies new methods of conducting executive reviews and other customer meetings as required. Acts as leading authority of appropriate pharmaceutical corporate functions to meet overall site goals and objectives. Keeps up-to-date on regulations or contracts for facility types and provides written reports of these reviews to applicable facility staff. Guides other colleagues through consultation, mentoring, and collaborative leadership to build depth of capability, and provides functional (matrix) supervision.

This is a full time, benefit eligible position. Pharmacist must be able to travel to long term care facilities throughout the greater New York City metropolitan area (including Long Island). Travel expenses, e.g. personal vehicle mileage, is reimbursable. This is a salaried position requiring full-time availability matching our customers' needs (typically weekday normal business hours). Occasional overnight travel may be required, based on the demands of the business. This is a full time position. Schedule is based on the needs of the business. Schedule will be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. There is a flexible weekend schedule. There is no on-call requirement.
Required Qualifications Active pharmacist license in good standing in Massachusetts Immunization certified or willingness to become immunization certified Preferred Qualifications Strong preference for pharmacist with additional license in New Hampshire and Vermont, or ability to obtain 2+ years of experience as a long term care pharmacist Education B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required Certification in geriatric pharmacy preferred Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $129,800.00 - $206,250.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
