General fluency with various tools and a solid understanding of the construction industry is a must, as you'll be assisting in the installation and fabrication of essential building systems. You'll work closely with the Foreman and Superintendent, so the ability to follow directions accurately and efficiently is crucial. A mechanical aptitude paired with a strong commitment to safety will help you tackle the position's physical demands while ensuring a secure work environment. Being a multitasker with an eye for detail will allow you to identify and troubleshoot potential issues before they escalate. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital, as you'll need to interact effectively with your team. Finally, don't forget your stamina-being ready to work in all weather conditions is key to keeping our projects on track! Knowledge and skills required for the position are: General fluency with tools used in various trades Knowledge of the general construction industry and the sub-contractor trades. Ability to perform tasks and follow directions assigned by the Foreman and Superintendent accurately and within the specified timeframe. Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to handle physical and demanding requirements of the position. Ability to take pride in servicing the customer and having a strong commitment to safety. Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems before they become major issues. Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time while maintaining attention to detail.
