OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING

Position: Commercial Tile Setter / Flooring Specialist

Location: Vancouver, WA

Pay: $20-30 /hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift

Our Client is a local Vancouver flooring company seeking highly skilled Commercial Tile Setters/Flooring Specialists to join our extremely busy and year-round team . What You’ll Do:

• Cut and shape tile to fit around obstacles and into tight spaces using hand and power tools
• Align and straighten tile using levels, squares, and straightedges
• Lay and set tiles for decorative walls, murals, and floors
• Measure and mark surfaces per blueprints
• Finish joints and clean excess grout using a damp sponge
• Remove old tile, grout, and adhesive with chisels and scrapers
• Clean and prep surfaces for installation
• Mix and apply adhesives including mortar, cement, mastic, or glue
• Measure materials and surfaces for accurate installation
• Maintain a clean job site and handle post-project cleanup

What You Need to Have:

• Proven experience in tile setting or commercial flooring
• Ability to follow blueprints and layout plans
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, and setting tile
• Knowledge of adhesives and surface preparation

• Willingness to work on commercial job sites

Preferred:

• Experience with decorative or custom tile work
• Background in additional flooring techniques
• Familiarity with power tools and commercial job site protocols
