Clinical Data Manager (Medical Devices | CRO)
Remote (Philadelphia area preferred)
Contract: 6+ months | 16–40 hrs/week
About the Opportunity
A growing medical device–focused CRO is seeking a Clinical Data Manager to support the development, execution, and oversight of high-quality, compliant data activities across medical device trials. This role blends h ands-on EDC work with strategic input to help scale data management operations within a fast-growing organization.
What You’ll Do
Perform hands-on EDC programming, data cleaning, data review, and reconciliation
Oversee and improve end-to-end data workflows across studies
Support documentation, SOP development, and gap analysis for a CRO in growth mode
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance
Provide strategic guidance while supporting tactical data tasks as needed
Partner with existing junior data cleaner/coder and programmer
What You Bring
Technical Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of clinical data management or EDC programming experience (CRO, sponsor, or medical device)
Hands-on experience with EDC systems (iMedNet strongly preferred)
Strong knowledge of clinical data processes, regulatory requirements, and data standards
Key Skills
Proven ability to manage data workflows and troubleshoot issues
Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
Comfortable balancing strategic advisory work with hands-on execution
