West Houston public accounting firm is adding a Senior Accountant/Manager to their team. If you enjoy public accounting AND want work-life balance, then this is the firm for you! Great firm ownership to work alongside. Partner opportunity. Position summary as follows:

• CPA
• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience
• Responsibilities:
• • Tax preparation and review of corporate, partnership, individual, trust, and non-profit entities in UltraTax software
  • Training and oversight of 5 Staff Accountants
  • Preparation and review of writeup in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
  • Familiarity with the preparation, processing, and reconciliation of payroll transactions and forms (have a dedicated staff for payroll, but familiarity with is strongly desired)
  • In-person, telephone, and electronic client contact
• Overtime requirements as needed but not expected to exceed 50 hours per week and applicable chargeable time will be paid at the employee’s regular compensation rate.
