Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a remote Billing Supervisor in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be overseeing the billing operations of a large detail-oriented services firm. You will be instrumental in managing accounting functions, improving billing processes, and handling customer inquiries. Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage the entire billing process within a detail-oriented services environment. - Implement and manage the WIP (Work in Progress) billing system to ensure accuracy and efficiency. - Utilize Elite ERP for managing and tracking billing activities. - Supervise the Accounts Receivable (AR) functions to ensure all transactions are processed accurately. - Develop and improve billing processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency. - Handle managerial responsibilities, including staff training, performance evaluation, and workflow scheduling. - Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payment issues. - Monitor customer accounts for timely payments and take appropriate action as needed. - Coordinate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and errors. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role or within the financial industry - Proficient in Accounting Functions, with a solid understanding of financial reports - Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ability to manage and supervise these functions - Proven track record in Billing, preferably in a supervisory role within a legal or professional services environment - Familiarity with Elite software is highly desirable - Experience with WIP - Work In Progress procedures, able to oversee and manage this process effectively Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
