Crucible Coffee in the Staunton, VA area is looking for coffee nerds to join our crew.

Part-Time

In order for you to work well in this position and truly enjoy the job you'll need to have certain characteristics:

• friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming and creative

• enjoy interacting with people
• be able to work independently
• enjoy coffee and taste it daily for calibration
• Eager to learn from our in-house team of coffee experts and open to ongoing training
• Willing to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Knowledgeable about espresso techniques operating, maintaining commercial coffee equipment ( not req'd but preferred )
• Experienced in the coffee industry with good references ( not req'd but preferred )
• Available to work early mornings, afternoons, and weekends (our typical store hours are 7:30am-6:30pm every day)

Responsibilities

Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs

Maintain a clean and tidy work area

Follow health and safety guidelines Interact with customers regularly and professionally

Qualifications

Proven working experience as a barista

High integrity with a great attendance record

Strong attention to detail

Ability to listen and communicate effectively
