In need of Entry-Level CAD Drafters for a long term project.

Overview:

Currently in need of entry-level individuals looking to develop expertise in drafting disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, or civil drafting. You should have the ability to operate a CAD drafting system.

Work is performed under direct supervision and is subject to review or spot checks during progress. As skills develop, individuals will be expected to take on more independent work and responsibility within their area of focus.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare diagrams, schematics, layouts, multi-view, and scaled drawings based on project specifications.
• Perform basic mathematical, geometrical, and engineering-related computations.
• Create scaled engineering drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Develop detailed design drawings and related specifications for civil or electrical components based on sketches, specifications, and related technical data.
• Generate various drawing types required for infrastructure and electrical systems, including but not limited to: structural, schematic, foundation, grounding, steel, layout, equipment, wiring, panel, AC/DC, and single-line diagrams.
• Organize and maintain engineering drawings and documentation; manage digital and physical catalogs as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of technical training or relevant work experience.
• AutoCAD design (preference will be given to academic project based and professional use)
• Proficiency with MS Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
