TOP Houston Law Firm – Immediate Openings Insurance Defense Attorneys

We are seeking skilled attorneys with a strong background in Insurance Defense. Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of experience in insurance defense with demonstrated abilities in depositions, summary judgments, and litigation support. Trial experience is a definite plus.

• Oil & Gas Cases (select matters)
• Note: Our partners regularly handle 85-95 motor vehicle accident (MVA) cases, offering extensive exposure to complex litigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload from file inception to completion, collaborating closely with a supervising shareholder.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and assist at trial, supporting the litigation team through written discovery and motions practice.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents, as well as develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
• Communicate regularly with clients, preparing initial reports and continual updates.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and court hearings with a high level of professionalism and strong writing ability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years of legal experience, with a preference for 5+ years specifically in Insurance Defense.
• Proven ability to manage diverse caseloads and complex litigation matters from start to finish.
• Strong drafting skills for pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
• Demonstrated experience with depositions, hearings, and trial support.
• Excellent communication skills and a robust work ethic.
