Working Title Assistant Athletic Director - Special Events Department Athletics-0850 Description Of Work Responsible for developing the strategy for securing and servicing a variety of third-party special events for Nebraska Athletics, including concerts, meetings, conferences, banquets, campus-related special events, and any external needs Athletics’ facilities can support. This position will lead the development of the Special Events department from the ground up, including creating standard operating procedures manuals, rental guidelines, rental price benchmarking, projecting rental expenses, evaluating internal and external FFE needs, assessing rental inventory, and collaborating with the facilities operations team on setup and cost analysis. Additional duties include managing internal special events supporting interdepartmental and team functions, overseeing public tours within athletic facilities, maintaining budgets, revenue projections, and supervising full-time staff.
