Responsible for direct patient care of a diverse population. Works closely in a team atmosphere and co-manages patient care and treatment with collaborating physicians. Assesses, diagnoses and treats patients with complex wounds, developing individualized care plans, collaborating with health care teams and educating patients and caregivers. Perform specialized treatment not limited to wound debridement and cleaning. Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide premium healthcare to our patients. Follows through on referrals while maintaining accurate detailed documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and patient progress. Will be required to manage outpatient care and inpatient and emergency room consult with management as applicable. Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a certified PA or NP program with a Colorado state and national certification as evidenced by a certificate of appropriate certification entity.
    • For NP; current unrestricted Colorado registered nursing license and Advanced Practice license with a prescriptive endorsement. Completion of a Masters, post Masters, or doctorate degree in a NP program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
    • For PA; Completion of a certified state and national certification as evidenced by a certificate of Physician Assistant status by the National Commission on Certification and testing by the State Board of Medical Examiners. Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license issued by the Colorado Board of Medicine. Current and unrestricted DEA
  • Current and unrestricted license issued by certifying body
  • Able to work independently while also collaborating with appropriate providers to ensure high quality patient care.
