Our client, a dynamic accounting firm, is seeking an accounting assistant to join their team. As an accounting assistant , you will be part of the administrative support team, ensuring smooth operations for the accounting professionals. The ideal candidate will have Quickbooks experience, microsoft office, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Accounting Assistant 

Location: Lynchburg, VA

Pay Range: $15-17/hr

What's the Job?

• Answering phones and taking messages for the accounting team.
• Organizing files and managing the calendars of the President and accounting teams.
• Ordering supplies and ensuring the office is well-stocked.
• Greeting clients and assisting them with their inquiries.
• Receiving and posting client payments while maintaining accurate records.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office setting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (1 to 2 + years experience needed), Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
