Job Description

One of the largest non-profit healthcare systems in the US is excited to welcome a fellowship trained Urologic Oncologist to join their expanding academic urology practice with a focus on genitourinary oncology disease. The candidate has the opportunity to participate in the Urology Residency Program, which includes a faculty appointment. Currently, there are 6 urologists and 6 APPs in this academic department.

Hospital Highlights:
Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeries with Multiple Robotic Rooms
Dedicated OR time: Have established block time available
Main Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center, 389 Beds
Equipped with DaVinci XI robots, Holmium lasers, and Moses laser

Position Highlights:
Access to a large, established Primary Care network and referral base
Physician can expect to have high oncology volume
Opportunity to work with multidisciplinary Oncology Specialists in the Cancer Center and participate in clinical trials
Conducting research is preferred, but not required
Teaching of medical students and Urology residents
Call will be approximately 1:6 to 1:7, residents assist with first call
Can sponsor H1b visa candidates
Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program eligible
